Colourful Caricatures brings quick, cheerful live caricature to weddings, parties, festivals and corporate events. A trained illustrator with more than 30 years' experience, she draws bold, expressive likenesses in black marker and finishes many of them with soft washes of colour, so every guest goes home with a bright, personal keepsake.
Each drawing takes around five minutes, which keeps the queue moving and gives plenty of guests their turn. She draws singles, couples and whole families, adds each guest's name to the drawing and hands it over in a clear protective sleeve. Guests love watching their caricature take shape, and it is a natural ice-breaker that gets people talking and laughing.
Over the years her work has taken her to wedding receptions, birthday parties, conferences, Christmas parties and corporate events at many of London's leading hotels and venues, as well as to events overseas. More recently she has drawn at summer garden parties and festivals, where guests in costume - from pirates to period wigs - make for some of her liveliest drawings.
Based in Devon, Colourful Caricatures covers Devon and the wider West Country. Browse a selection of her live event work below.
