Dragon Caricatures brings fast, friendly live caricature to weddings, parties, corporate events and trade stands. With more than 20 years of drawing people live, and a background as a professional illustrator, he captures a likeness in two to four minutes - funny, flattering and full of character.
Each caricature is drawn by hand in black line and grey tone on A4 paper and handed over in a clear sleeve, which makes it a perfect wedding favour. He usually works from a base, where a constant queue keeps the room buzzing, but can also move between the tables with a sketch pad. A larger top-table caricature of the couple can be drawn as well.
Weddings are his main work, from country barns to grand hotels, and he is a regular at business exhibitions and conferences, where a caricaturist on the stand brings in visitors who might otherwise walk straight past. Charity balls, Christmas parties, big birthdays and outdoor shows are all part of the mix.
Based in Mid Wales, Dragon Caricatures covers Wales, Shropshire, the Midlands and the North West, travelling up to around two hours. Browse a selection of his live event work below.
