The Comedy Pickpocket is a full-time professional pickpocket and close-up magician based in the North West, with more than 25 years of performing at weddings, corporate events and private parties all over the UK and abroad.
He is a very funny man, and he uses it. The moment a group starts laughing is the moment a watch leaves a wrist. Ties come off without being untied, phones and wallets turn up in his hand, and the owner is nearly always the last person to find out. He has even been known to take a guest’s tie and be wearing it himself before they notice. Everything is handed back, and the person he took it from usually laughs the longest.
Between the steals there is sleight-of-hand magic with cards, coins and borrowed objects, all done right under the guests’ noses. Most of his bookings come from people who have seen him before and want him back.
